How does one write a novel? Mandy Hubbard, author Prada and Prejudice, a novel for teens, recommends getting a great idea, and then fleshing out the characters. After that it’s all BICHOK.

That third step, BICHOK, is for me the hardest part. But it’s becoming easier as I stick to a daily routine throughout week after week.

From Mandy Hubbard’s blog:

Mandy Hubbard – Writing & Publishing a novel part three: Getting it written: “So what does BICHOK mean?

BUTT IN CHAIR, HANDS ON KEYBOARD. It’s the only way to get the thing written!”
