The Savior Machine: A brief collection of weird fiction has been moved up from a September release to an August release. This is good for a few reasons.
1 – You, and others interested in purchasing the title, can buy it sooner.
2 – It will allow us to focus on getting ready for ArtPrize, which happens at the end of Sept.
Also, a special edition of the book, titled The Savior Machine: A brief collection of weird fiction and illustration, was also to be released in September. We are postponing the release of the that title. We’ll announce when that title will be released as soon as we are able.
And don’t forget that the Kindle edition of the book is available now.
ArtPrize update
As a reminder, Daniel La Ponsie’s ArtPrize entry is the book The Savior Machine. As far as we know, there are some other literature-themed entries. But there are no actual books entered … except for Daniel’s.
We are making the statement that a book is in fact art.
Every piece of literature is a piece of art, every word is a creative stroke. We all know it’s true, but somehow it gets lost in our language. We will talk about art, and then talk about music and books as if they are totally separate things.
If you want to join us in making the statement that a book is a piece of art, and you are going to be in the Grand Rapids area during ArtPrize, please consider voting for Daniel La Ponsie’s ArtPrize entry.
Information on voting is available at the ArtPrize website.
And you can view more about Daniel’s submission at his ArtPrize page.
